「Staff always have a smile and will get you anything you need. Nice and clean room and communal areas, good variety of food. Great location if you are visiting for the Safari, only ten minutes up the road. The transition centre, where you can see the young elephants being fed, is even closer. 」

「We had an amazing stay at Mansala Safari House. The hosts are very kind and welcoming, and the house itself is clean and comfortable. The hosts arranged two safaris for us which were both excellent; the driver picked us up directly from the accommodation and was very knowledgeable about the park. 「We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. 「We have been travelling throughout Sri Lanka staying in hotels for a couple of nights each time, this one was FABULOUS, from the moment you come through the gates, you feel that you're somewhere special, you are then presented with a beautiful turn of century colonial house, the room was HUGE with high ceilings and the biggest antique four poster bed you've ever seen, and matching furniture, the fully modern bathroom is accessed through and old antique door, and the waterfall shower was superb....
