"Very clean room.Lovely pool. The hotel is out of the way near the river. We loved the tranquil setting. Apart from our safari trip (which was arranged by the owner) we didn’t leave the hotel, which suited us because the food provided at the hotel is delicious. The only negative thing I would say is they could do with upgrading the recliners by the pool. "

"It was the most amazing experience! I love the staff very friendly and kind. Help me with everything. Front house Sampath, dumindu and sithijaya , sahan, gayantha, Rukshan are awesome, Gave me the best service they could. Foods are delicious 😋, pool was clean and easy access. More then anything the staff are making me to come back here again. Feel like home. I love you guys and the hotel 🥰😍 Thank you very much for looking after me and making my stay truly wonderful. "I can’t recommend this place enough! Great communication with Eric all the way through, we came a bit late, and before we could order our meals over email and it was ready. Great WiFi! Evening watching fireflies in the dark.
The food both breakfast and dinner was delicious. Eric also helped book our safari trip witch was terrific!"

"La Pentera is a new property which has a unique concept of a tree house. The property is quite far from the Udawalawe National Park - about 30 km or so. The directions are also unclear, even if you use googlemaps. The property is new and in great condition. However, there are things that could be better, especially the food. The bathroom has hot water though there is some water leakage. A great experience stay but could be better."

"Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). Ultimately it was resolved (with help from our Sri Lankan driver) and we were given our money back (booking was prepaid). The grounds looked nice, so you could take your chances, but make sure you do nót prepay your reservation."

"Rating is based on the fact it is a camp. The staff is great, really friendly and take good care of you. They helped with anything we needed. It is a bit hard to find, but they met us on the road and brought us to the camp site. The location is well kept. Since it is a camp, there are bugs, there are reptiles, but the staff do their best to keep them out of your way. The breakfast was great and very peaceful."

"The welcome at the Sihilro Regency is second to none. We felt almost like family. The home cooked food offered is really fantastic, exceeding the standard in most of the hotels we stayed in. Arriving over the new year weekend, we were slightly concerned that onward travel would be difficult but they helped us find a taxi at a very reasonable price. We also used their in house Safari and the driver / guide was brilliant. Highly recommended."
