「Everything as good」

「The room was as shown in the photos. Clean, well-appointed and comfortable. The Motel though was decrepit on the outside. No one in reception. they had to make a photocopy of my driver's license to let me in. NO water glass or cup in the room. Expedia totally misled on this booking.」

「Friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. We were passing through the area and stayed 1 night. Breakfast was good even though the power went out lol. The breakfast attended had a great attitude and had guests laughing and at ease during the outage. Id stay again if in the area.」

「This place took our money and we're not even open. Then refused to give us a refund when we arrived and found the place completely abandoned! No staff, no renters, no access to main area for food, no breakfast as advertised! Be very wary and don't stay there!! 」

「We absolutely loved staying here at this cabin! It was the perfect break from the chaos of the world lately. The owners did state they are building a bigger bunk house on their property so I plan to return with more of my family. We are very thankful for this retreat in the woods. Also, this is a bit random- but I loved the bathhouse. It was beautiful and very clean!」

「We really didn’t know what we were getting into but this place is a beautiful gem on Smith Mountain Lake. All new, clean, serene. They have kayaks and standup paddle boards. We brought our own floats and did a lot of swimming. We went over to the state park and height, explored some of the historical markers in the area, and there’s plenty of biking and kayaking in Roanoke, which is only about 40 minutes away. The owners are very dedicated and friendly. We loved it and plan to go back.」
