"The staff was friendly. The room was clean and linens on the bed were made well. I slept better than usual in a hotel. The physical facilities were old and needed work but this did not hinder our stay. It was an ok place to stop for the night. I would stay again."

"Beautiful property on the Rappahannock River. Can tell it’s a little older. Everything was clean. It was nice that the linens were provided. We did have to make the beds with the sheets that were provided. The water toys were a blessing. Kitchen nicely stocked. Ashley was easy to get in touch with and check in was seamless."

"Our stay at Fern and Forest was fantastic! We stayed in the three-bedroom unit, which definitely offered a boutique charm. Everything you could possibly need is provided during your stay. Fern and Forest is conveniently right off of Route 17 but sits in a very quiet, relaxing spot. The host could not be more available or attentive to anything you need. This will definitely be the spot where we stay when we return to the area!"

"We had a wonderful stay! Corey was attentive and responsive, and the home was perfect for our family. The beds were very comfortable, and we especially loved the spacious yard, incredible views, large gathering area, and beautiful windows.The only minor issue was that the upstairs A/C unit struggled to keep a few bedrooms cool, but it didn’t take away from an otherwise excellent stay. We would definitely recommend this home to others"
