「Killer location, and a perfectly nice, if basic, hotel right on Dikwella Beach. Clean, comfortable, and unfussy rooms, most with views of the ocean, which is just across the street. Not much in the way of a restaurant, but plenty of local options right on its doorstep. Lovely pool. Nice staff, if a little absentee. So-so WiFi.」

「Great property right on the beach , in comparison the prices in the hotel / restaurant are higher ( which is to be expected) . Staff was lovely , the hotel could do with some small updates / upgrades. Location is very good, under 10 mins to walk into town. Great place if you are looking for something that not in overcrowded part of Sri Lanka 」

「We had a great stay at Surf Bay Villa! The owners were really hospitable to us despite it being the off-season. They even let me tag along to a local festival with them! The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, and the property is walking distance to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. 」

「The place is situated close by all the relevant beaches, especially Hiriketiya and Nilwella beach. It is about 10-15 minutes to get to hiriketiya road where most of the shops/resturants are. Its calm and tranquil at this place, away from the busy scene at hiriketiya road yet not to far to get there when you want. Space to park if u have tuk tuk, scooter etc. The rooms are cozy and clean. 「Very friendly family service. Great location for beach - 2-3 min walk. Lots of great restaurants around, especially on beach. Next to road, so easy to get tuktuk. Comprehensive convenience shop 4 min walk. Lovely pool with outdoor shower. A/C kept room at nice temperature, with ceiling fan. Family room had two double beds and we had a cot, so family of five well-suited. Room cleaned every 3 days. Malee cooked us lovely hoppers, dal and sambal for breakfast, whilst the children loved fresh...

「We had a great time at the villa. Ash and his team made us feel welcome and helped us organize fun day trips. It was a great spot for a group of 9. The beach is right next to the house and is perfect for early morning walks on the beach. The food was delicious. The team organized several fun events including a traditional fire dance and fireworks on New Years. Thank you!」
