「Stayed in Nila balcony room. Spectacular view, beautiful room. Nice pool. Nila room has a bit more privacy than others as it is on second floor. Friendly and very professional staff. Perfect for a few days of romantic getaway. Sea is swimmable but can be rough, requires caution and would not recommend swimming in the sea for kids. No alcohol can be bought on premises, wine shop about 500m away, easy walk. Can store wine or beer in common fridge.」

「We stayed at paradise cove for a week in February 2019 and got married here. The villa it’s self and garden is beautiful and well maintained. the pool is surprisingly bigger than I expected. We visited the villa in 2018 to see if it fitted in with our needs as a wedding venue and the pool hadn’t been built yet, it is a beautiful place to sit and take in the surrounded views of the garden and beach. 「We spent 3 days at this fabulous property. We loved the location - the sea was perfect for swimming and the pool was nice too. In front of the beach is a lovely lawned area with trees which is perfect for those of us who like a bit of shade. The rooms were large (we had a sea view room) and well equipped. You should be prepared to be self sufficient - the staff are inexperienced and shy so aren’t proactive in clearing tables or offering drinks - they prefer to hide inside. You have to ask...

「I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. The food was incredible. I felt super safe. I didn’t want to leave. A must visit - and please do as the Sri Lankan people need visitors right now. 」
