「Really friendly guest house! Everything you need for a budget holiday. We had a great time there , AC and fan in the sleeping room and great breakfast. 2 or 3 minutes walking to Mirissa beach . Nice cooking lesson and lots of smiles everyday. 」

「Everything! The hotel is set back from the main hustle and bustle of Mirissa beach road which was ideal. Tuk tuks provided daily to a central location to access all the restaurants and the main beach. The manager when we arrived explained everything to us in such detail including recommendations and all the excursions we could do. Laundry service was an added touch & the rooms were huge, beautifully decadent, spacious with all the amenities you could need, a lovely family style buffet breakfast...

「Amazing stay, even extended twice. The service is second to none, everything is no problem. From the amazing view of the sea to all the varied wildlife in the grounds, posse of monkeys visit every day drinking from the pool and generally being monkeys to peacocks, a mongoose, frogs, all the birds. Nick the owner is a friendly chap and clearly set the ethos of this place and is always around to help if needed. Kalpa and Umesh (managers) are great, absolute credit to the place. 「Spice House Hotel. It’s a charming place, styled like an old British bungalow, right across from Coconut Hill in Mirissa. The location is beautiful, with lovely views, and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They offer a great breakfast included in your stay, and the internet is high-speed. Just one key thing to note: they only accept cash payments, even if you booked online through a site like Hotels.com. So be prepared with cash when you leave.」

「Very nice and very quiet chalet on a deserted beach. The location is literally on the beach. Ideal if you want tranquility. Just the sound of the waves! Our host was excellent and helped us with information we needed. There is a good restaurant next door and the Waves will provide good dinners at reasonable cost if you give them warning (as everything is freshly cooked). 」
