「We really enjoyed our stay in the lagoon paradise resort and even decided to stay one day longer than initially planned. You can enjoy the breakfast (as well as dinner) in the nice beach restaurant with a great view. We booked a cabana which was located near the swimming pool. We would definitely recommend the hotel to anybody who visits Tangalle! Special thanks also to the staff (especially Weerasena & Thisara) who were more than welcoming.」

「I left my heart in Talalla Retreat. Incredible staff who were so welcoming and hard working, the Retreat itself is stunning. I had an upstairs bedroom so was able to fully enjoy the surroundings. 「Property is a nice place. The service was very slow and bad. Checked in and was told there is a power failure, power will be up in 20mins and after an hour, power is not up yet. Checked in the room for stay with my sister, was only given one bath towel in the room. There is no amenity (shower gel n shampoo) TOP up on day 2. 「Not clean. Internet very bad. Owner said she would not purchase more gigabytes that I was downloading. I told her I wasn’t. Then said I was watching too many videos. There wasn’t a tv for the evening so I did watch some videos but I have never had this problem when I have booked with Expedia at any other property. I was on the top floor and she told me I had booked the cheapest room. I was not aware of that. I had fan only and I thought I had booked air conditioning. The worst room I have ever...

「The Cabanas was very spacious and nice. There is NO hot water for a shower which is not mentioned in the posting. There is not a separate "sitting area." The cabana is in a beautiful setting but you have to take a Tuk Tuk to town. It is next door to a restaurant. The breakfast is the traditional Sri Lankan Breakfast. Please note that they do not accept credit cards (which is poor) so you have to pay in local currency.」
