「The hotel itself is mostly fine, with a good location and a nice view. The staff, however, were the worst among our eight stays in Sri Lanka. They weren’t friendly or helpful and had a clear “what do you want” attitude. They even woke us at 10 p.m. to ask what breakfast we wanted, which is unacceptable. 「The hotel is well located a few minutes walk to the beach. The staff are great and attentive to all your needs. They go the extra mile all the time to ensure your stay is special. Breakfast is excellent with all cusines available. The NY eve gala dinner had live music, superb food banquet and a beach bbq. Seafood, meat and sushi available. Like a wedding feast. Great fun and well organised.」

「I cannot recommend this villa highly enough. We were blown away by the service, hospitality and genuine kindness of the staff. It is technically a “villa” but much closer to the European definition of a boutique hotel. It offers five large rooms, any of which would have comfortably accommodated our family of 3.
