「Heel vriendelijk personeel Kamer is wat gedateerd maar prima, heerlijk balkon met uitzicht op zee. Enige minpunt is douchen in het bad wat van te voren niet bekend gemaakt was en de laatste drie dagen geen warm water.」

「We had a great stay at Surf Bay Villa! The owners were really hospitable to us despite it being the off-season. They even let me tag along to a local festival with them! The rooms are really spacious and comfortable, and the property is walking distance to both Dikwella and Hiriketiya beaches. 」

On arrival the hotel staff and checking was very nice, our room was on the fourth floor via the lift and very, very steep stairs to the room. The bathroom was awful totally open to the outside world view with plastic curtain which kept blowing around in the wind, when you were trying to take a shower. A special thank you to Isuru from the Rooftop Restaurant and Bar. He helped me choose the right Sri Lankan option at breakfast...it was fantastic and a lot of food...all superbly cooked by the chefs. 「This hotel has an amazing spot on the beach. The only drawback was the lack of a view from our room. The room was large and comfortable and the staff were delightful. Despite the lack of light/view in the room it does offer a number of beach facing seating areas and a fantastic breakfast 」
