2/10 Terrible

"Very disappointing experience from start to finish. The bathroom tub in my room was dirty and appeared not to have been properly cleaned before my arrival. I arrived early and was willing to pay for an early check-in, yet I was still made to wait nearly two hours before being allowed into the room. The property's advertised "beach" was also misleading. It was essentially a concrete slab with a thin layer of sand on top, nothing like what was portrayed. The hammocks were weather-beaten, worn out, and had holes in them, making them unusable. To make matters worse, I had an unexpected emergency involving my pet sitter and needed to check out earlier than planned. Rather than showing understanding or trying to help, the staff became rude and unprofessional. I received unpleasant messages and was even asked to provide personal information to prove my situation, which I found inappropriate and unnecessary. Customer service and honesty in advertising go a long way. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression, and I would not stay here again."

"The comforter and shower curtain liner didn’t appear to be very clean. Also, we’ve never been to a hotel that doesn’t do basic maintenance to the rooms. We requested new towels at 8am so we could have clean ones to shower with and by the time we got back at 4pm they weren’t outside our door so we had to request them again. We had to request new bed sheets to make our bed feel clean again. Lastly, the sink didn’t drain. Everything else about the property was great."

"Overall, our stay was okay, but it did not quite meet the expectations we typically have for a Hilton property. There were several positive aspects of our visit. Check-in was smooth and efficient, the beds were comfortable, the complimentary cookies were a nice touch, and the bartender was friendly and welcoming. The property itself was attractive and appeared to be well maintained. However, there were a few disappointments. The cleaning products used throughout the hotel had a very strong and unpleasant odor. It was noticeable enough that we had to air out our room to make it comfortable. The most concerning issue was an interaction we witnessed at the front desk. One of the front desk agents was extremely rude and sarcastic toward a guest. The behavior was surprising and unprofessional, and it left a negative impression on our group. Parking was also limited, making it difficult to find a space at times. While the hotel offers several amenities, we did not have an opportunity to use them during our stay. As a result, the resort fee felt somewhat excessive for the value we personally received. In summary, there were certainly some positive aspects to our stay, but the service experience and a few other issues kept it from being as enjoyable as we expected. It wasn't a bad stay, but it fell short of the standard we've come to associate with Hilton properties."

"Room was clean. The Yellow Fin does not have much of a selection on the menu. Did not like that The coffee shop closes at 11:00 am. After that you have to make your own coffee in your room. The pool waitress Collette Crooks was excellent very friendly and attentive. Our room was on the second floor which had no ice machine. Not happy with having to get on the elevator to go to the first floor for ice especially at night."
