"Shops, bars , restaurants all very close by. Staff was wonderful . Ocean view room was wonderful but unfortunately huge cruise ship sits in the way from 9:00 to 5:00 everyday"

"We enjoyed our stay at the Cabana Inn. The room was clean and spacious the staff members were helpful, friendly and always available when needed. My only negative thought would be allowing smoking by the pool and hot tub areas and what seemed to be a designated smoking area was right below our room so we had to walk through it often. "

"First impression with office female staff member was not good. She was extremely robotic and very disinterested. Staff at breakfast were extremely friendly and warm. Rooms are very small. Grounds are well maintained."

"Pool View could see ocean from room through trees. Good property, but elevator was broken. Maid service mediocre, they seemed to do their job with a grudge. Food expensive but mediocre in quality. Fortunately many great restaurants very near by. Walk down the beach to the left about 50 yards and you are at Louies Backyard, one of the best on Key West."

"The room was clean ,but the sheets and pillowcases were worn out and threadbare . The bathroom was tiny , the sink and toilet was clean , but the shower was gross ! It was black mold in it , we spent 2 nights there , and we didn’t shower, I got some water dripping on the floor , I took a washcloth and wiped it up, the cloth turned black! They included breakfast in the price , but it was the the tiniest breakfast we ever had, so the next morning we went out and got a good breakfast . The elevator didn’t work when we came ,so we had to use the steep staircase and carry our suitcases up to the second floor , if you would fall there ,you could breake a lot ! The lady at the front desk was not very friendly, nor accommodating , she was not helpful. When we came down in the morning there was no good morning , she didn’t say a word unless someone spoke to her. "

"The Douglas House is about 4 blocks from the southern most point. Easily accessible to shops and restaurants along Duval and side streets."
