"We had a comfortable spacious room with a view of buildings in the foreground and the mountains with trees changing to autumn colours. It was great having a sitting area with a small table. There are quite a few stairs and no elevator. Everything is impeccably clean. There are free laundry machines to use. "

"We found this ryokan by accident and we are extremely lucky. The ryokan is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.very peaceful and relaxing. Food was very delicious. Its a good place to rest and proceed to other destinations. We will definitely come again."

"It was a fairly simple stay, with just the basics in the room. Since we live in Japan, were used to certain aspects of a hotel room here, such as a tea kettle and coffee, plus some cups - and we missed those things. On the other hand, it was great to sleep on a bed that was not as hard as most Japanese mattresses. The breakfast was nothing special, but it was definitely appreciated. The staff were all friendly and helpful, and it was a welcome treat to have them all speak English. Overall, the stay was nothing special, but it had everything we needed, and the location was excellent. I would likely stay here again."
