「probably the best hotel in the town, located in the heart of the city, just in front of the church, and the market, of this historical town. therefore many pub and restraunts, shops are within 100 yerds. this hotel has a nice restraunt, which is busy, with locals, suggesting it better. our room was large and clean. the bathtub made of copper is in the room, not in the rest room which has a shower space. a good mix of modern facilities and old days atomosphere.」

「Room was clean and just what we needed. Staff were helpful, however when attending for breakfast I was told ‘it’s closing’ rather than just offered a seat, when breakfast was due to be open for another hour. We then also had a small bite in the lounge area the next day, and the food took nearly 40mins. We used the spa facilities, and these are always great. The room was comfy and just as we would expect. It’s the second time we have stayed, and would go back again. 」

Das Hotel und Pub sind urig aber sehr gepflegt, die Zimmer sind sehr in die Jahre gekommen, wobei die wahrscheinlich den Charme ausmacht. Das Frühstück war seht lecker 😋 von richtig englisches Frühstück bis einfaches Toast mit Marmelade. Die Bar im Pub ist sehenswert, wir hatten das Glück einen Abend mit Live-Musik zu verbringen. 「The room was beautiful with gorgeous fixtures and ammenities. The staff were amazing! Everybody was friendly and helpful and kind. The housekeeping staff had such positive energy and were an absolute delight, giving me lots of wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and things to do and see around the area. On check out Sharissa was also extremely helpful and generous with her time as I had a few issues with my hire car booking which she assisted me with. The lovely young gentleman...

「Beautiful property with a lovely bar and restaurant. Unfortunately we didnt get chance to eat there but would love to revist again. Staff were friendly and put on a really nice breakfast spread (continental). Room was spacious, comfortable and well decorated with a nice wetroom-style bathroom. 100% would stay again!」

「We stayed 1 nite in room 7 lovely room and amazing shower room which is an old vault only downside is it does flood the whole area but was worth it bed was comfortable it doesn’t have phone network so be prepared to use there free WiFi also doesn’t have normal tv channels you have to sign into Netflix luckily we have Netflix so was easy to do wat really impressed us was def the shower area in room 7 it was awesome we will def return to room 7 if in Swindon :)」
