probably the best hotel in the town, located in the heart of the city, just in front of the church, and the market, of this historical town. therefore many pub and restraunts, shops are within 100 yerds. this hotel has a nice restraunt, which is busy, with locals, suggesting it better. our room was large and clean. the bathtub made of copper is in the room, not in the rest room which has a shower space. a good mix of modern facilities and old days atomosphere.

すばらしく広い部屋に広いベッド。モダン過ぎない歴史も感じさせる内装。コーヒーマシーンで美味しいコーヒーが飲めるアメニティー。町のランドマークになる大きな教会の真ん前。土日はマーケットが開催されるので、そこで朝食を買っても楽しい。 私は一人利用だったので少々高くなったけど、二人利用だったらコスパ最高の宿だと思います。

These were some of the best rooms we stayed in during our UK trip. Unfortunately the room conditioning was not working, but they were able to supply space heaters. Overall, a great experience!

A complete disaster from start to finish. Upon arrival, I was told that they had no room for me, because "You have accidentally booked for the following night". When I produced the email confirmation that showed that not only HAD I booked for the correct night, but I had paid for the stay IN ADVANCE, the staff said "you're in luck! you can have very last available room!" As if I should be grateful that they had deigned to provide the service which I had paid for in advance, instead of APOLOGISING for THEIR mistake, which would have been the correct response. When I asked where their car park was, I was told that they didn't have one, in direct contradiction to what they had told me BEFORE making the booking. Then they asked for a credit card for incidentals, but refused to take Amex! What sort of hotel in a tourist town refuses to take Amex? I might point point that Amex seemed to be QUITE GOOD enough for them when taking the fee in advance. When we finally got to the room, it was not the great suite advertised by Expedia, but a rubbish little room above a pub with very definite "you can have very last available room!" Vibes - not what I had paid for - and continual noise from the pub directly underneath. Their WiFi password was a hint to "DontUseExpediaBookDirectWithUs". The only reason I STAYED with them is that they were suggested by Expedia, but I certainly won't do again. And if they don't like Expedia so much, why don't they just leave it?

Hotel and Room were great, however the bar appeared to be under-staffed for what was a busy weekend (Advent Market, etc.) in Cirencester, consequently we waited quite a long time for food, even though we had booked some weeks before. The walk-ins could have been managed better with regards to having meals.

Where do I start… stayed a couple of months ago and was lovely so booked again. This weekend 2 rooms were triple booked so walked in on someone, shower wouldn’t turn off iron tripped the electrics, lift don’t work, breakfast was a mess and no cutlery.. no juice, had to keep asking for things and a few more things.. not impressed and it was a lot of money to pay

Room and amenities were great, spacious room, well equipped, comfortable bed and everything you need in the bathroom and shower. The staff were ok, polite and just friendly enough but don't go above and beyond to make your stay quite special. On arrival we had to ask for the WiFi password, we were referred to a welcome letter that was meant to be on the room but there was nothing there. The following day there was a sporting event and nobody mentioned that access to and from the town would be limited. Small details that actually matter. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Room cold, particularly the bathroom which only had heated towel rail on at limited time. Huge draft from single glazed sash window. Breakfast very poor; undercooked and inedible on first day and overcooked and tasteless on second day. Staff, as ever, were delightful and helpful.

Everything about hotel is excellent. Remodeled restaurant is beautiful and serves great food. The rooms are very roomy and comfortable. Great location in center of village. Loved it here.

We arrived a week after the hotel’s reopening and the renovated front entrance, sitting area, bar, and dining space were beautifully updated. Unfortunately, the rooms, hallways, and elevator were a sharp contrast and still in need of significant work. While we understand rooms in Europe tend to be smaller, most of the light switches didn’t work, the hallway carpets were mismatched, and years of wear and tear were evident. The front desk staff could benefit from proper customer service training. They weren’t particularly welcoming and at times came across as rude, which set a poor first impression. On a positive note, the food was tasty with a good range of menu options. However, the wait staff, though mostly friendly, seemed underprepared for the relaunch. They were unfamiliar with the iPads used for ordering, didn’t check in during dinner, and we had to repeatedly ask for water, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. The hotel has real charm, but Honeycomb Houses clearly has some work to do to bring the full experience up to the level of the renovated common spaces.

We did not use the spa , and had breakfast on 2 mornings and an evening meal on one night. The food and service were fine. The staff were attentive but not overly so.
