「This is such a delightful country pub. We loved everything about it - the location in a pretty and peaceful village, the decor, the ambiance, the quality of the food, our comfortable and cosy room and the friendly and welcoming staff. It would rate as one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. We were in the smallest bedroom, which was quite compact but decorated so beautifully and had everything we needed. Really comfortable bed and quality bedding. Compact bathroom but lovely hot shower...

「The property was homely & felt comfortable as if you were visiting someone. Close proximity to Fareford if you need accommodation for the airshow. Breakfast is in the family dining room & is cereals, juice & toast with jam & tea/coffee. Patrick is very flexable with timing for arrivals & breakfast. You can use downstairs to eat if you bring food in. Friendly host. 」

「Gorgeous hotel room right in the heart of Marlborough! We booked the room with the golden bath which was such a treat. The breakfast offering was very generous and the room had everything you could need (it would be helpful to have some bath products by the side of the bath, as the shower gel etc in the shower were attached to the wall which made it tricky). Otherwise 10/10!」
