Food is very good All the people in charge of every departament were very kind. The beach is a plate, the temperature of The water unique . About the room , the bed wasn’t so Good and having a door in between rooms is not nice you lose privacy

It’s a beautiful place. I loved that two of the pools were heated, so luxurious!! The food was good, not great. There were a couple of odd things that I hope they improve. 1) a guest guide book or walk through of how the suite works. We didn’t know the refrigerator had filtered water till the last day. This book should also contain important information, like how to walk to the Playa Rosa ( a cute little walk - not the long way as google maps shows 2) a more conveniency store that sells all the sunscreen, small little thing you might need throughout your stay- ironically they have this but it’s hidden away in the receptionist closet. No one knows about this as I asked several staff members about sunscreen without any suggestion to ask receptionist. Other than that the stay was great just needs to be more user friendly.

Decepcionante estadía En Careyes suites

Desde el día domingo qué fue nuestra llegada se nos negó la entrada, siendo que la reservación ya estaba pagada, nosotros llegamos tarde y cansados y decían que si no teníamos la prueba de covid no nos dejarían pasar, yo entiendo que si me hubieran dicho anteriormente la hubiera llevado pero desde el guardia de la entrada no nos dejo pasar , y tuvimos que ir ya ya tarde a una clínica en medio de la nada y ya estaba cerrada, pues regresamos al hotel y les dijimos que no se podía hacer la prueba, y muy a fuerzas nos dejaron pasar ala recepción diciéndonos que no saliéramos para nada del cuarto , hasta el día siguiente que nos hicieran la prueba, la persona de recepcion fue amable con nosotros, pero aun así nos dió primero un cuarto y después al día siguiente nos tuvo que cambiar a otra habitación que porque esa ya estaba apartada , y tuvimos que volver a cambiarnos a otra , total que entre que nos vinieran a tomar la prueba y cambiaran la habitación ya se había perdido casi otro día y solo íbamos por tres noches, para variar la habitación donde nos cambiaron se veía linda pero o sorpresa , estaba infestada de moscos y pedimos un raid para matarlos y nos dijeron que no tenían , entonces pasamos muy mala noche tratando de matar a los moscos , aparte nos salió un alacrán, y pedimos se fumigara al sig dia , para que la habitación estuviera bien, pero perdimos muchísimo tiempo en esperar todos estos imprevistos que no tendrian porque existir, cobrando lo que cobran

Las instalaciones muy lindas y limpias, la comida de restaurantes deliciosa y buenas porciones. En lo personal creo que no debe dar la clasificación de hotel ya que no cuenta con servicios de alimentos ni recepcion durante todo el día, lo que complica la estancia ya que debes salir de las instalaciones e ir a algunos de sus restaurantes que tiene en el pueblo. Además, no te incluye menos facilita la compra de accesorios de vanidad (cepillos de dientes, pasta, etc)

hotel under renovation.

Beautiful beach but the hotel is very understaffed. After 6 on hotel lobby is closed. It’s obvious the hotel is going through a renovation, and even though our condo was nicely remodeled it was missing TVs. Even though the pools are beautiful, we believe that we could have stayed in a better hotel and gotten a better customer service, for what we paid for.

Great pools, staff not so much

If you often stay in upscale places this will be fine but you’ll notice that staff is poorly trained. We arrived by cab and were held at the gate for more than 30 minutes while the guard said he couldn’t find our reservation. It was unpleasant and a hassle and I was pretty pissed off by the time we finally got to the hotel. The place is guarded like the Crown Jewels. We got out of the cab and the girl with the walkie talkie didn’t greet us or help us with our bags. A guard was right there and didn’t take the bags. Annoying. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and couldn’t believe the offhand attitude of the staff. Their main concern was money. Making a comment that beach towels would be charged to us if we didn’t bring them back to registration. Tacky. One bottle of water in the fridge with a note that that’s it if you want more it’s 200p. Apartment was nice, good size, and pleasantly decorated. Not enough hot water to fill more than 4 inches in the tub. Pools are spectacular and are the main reason to stay Beautiful setting.

El Careyes lives up to its reputation

You have to be prepared to “camp”... or “glamp” a little .... feels very open and safe ... a few “no see ums” And tiny ants. But very comfortable ... i would come back ... but with a group of friends !!! Beach is right there which is so nice.
