" The room was very clean and quiet, breakfast was terrific and they were exceptionally hospitable. The owner graciously gave us a tour of his “wall of fame”."
"This is a property that tries very hard to provide a quality experience, and they add a number of small touches, like homemade cookies in the lobby, and a white noise machine in the room.
The room itself was pleasant—the bed sheets were extraordinary, but the mattress was very much on the firm side (more to my wife’s liking than to mine). The bathroom is quite nice, but the maze of handles and nozzles in the shower was hard to decipher.
We had to leave before getting a chance to experience...
"The duty manager was friendly, accommodating and very knowledgeable about the area. Convenient location with numerous food and fuel options close by. Easy parking and access. The room was clean, well-stocked and I slept VERY well under the warm blankets on a comfortable bed. Nothing fancy, and that's what I wanted. Thanks to the management and staff!"
"A laid back atmosphere, that was clean, comfortable and very inviting. Austin is friendly and conscientious. He goes above and beyond for his guests. It’s a small place and easy for people to talk to one another. A nice vibe. We would definitely come back again if we’re in the area."

You can study the exhibits at National Baseball Hall of Fame, a museum with a story of its own, during your trip to Cooperstown. Amble around this quaint area's lakeside or attend a baseball game.
I came to visit the Baseball HOF and Museum and ended up exploring and enjoying the Fenimore Art Museum, Glimmerglass Beach and Hyde Hall. I especially enjoyed the Stagecoach Coffee Roaster on Pioneer Street and Doubleday Cafe on Main Street.

Everything revolves around the baseball museum. But I really got a kick out of the art museum and the large photography show in process. Plus seeing some Ansel Adams prints there was special for this old B&W film photographer.

Baseball Hall of Fame is a must see for any baseball enthusiast. Excellent dining options, even during February, when some of the restaurants are close for the season. I ate at Mel's at 22, Nicolette's, Toscana and all were excellent.

The town is adorable, we came for baseball but enjoyed all the town had to offer. We felt safe, the streets are pristine, and realizing the summer is their busiest time everyone was friendly.

Even for light baseball fans, the experience of being in and around Cooperstown is hard to match. The updated version of the hall of fame makes it easy for anyone to enjoy and the town has more than baseball to off.
"Literally less than 300 steps from your room to the Hall of Fame. In the center of it all. Parking is in the back; check in in the sports store was seamless. (If you arrive after 6, Ainsley, the manager, will make sure you're able to get in). Highly recommend. you can walk to anywhere on Main Street."
