"The motel is in an older building not far from the MLB HOF. Locating the parking lot in the back was not a problem. We had no concerns about safety; this was a quiet area and Cooperstown does not have crime problems. The interactions with staff from beginning to end were pleasant and helpful. The room was fine. Again it's located in an older smaller building. The floors were a bit crooked which wasn't a concern for us but may be for those expecting a 4 star hotel. The beds could probably be replaced; frames were a bit noisy and mattresses were very soft. I will say this was one of the more quieter places we stayed in. Bathroom was well stocked with what was needed. Would we stay there again? Yes! Overall we loved Cooperstown and all the interactions with those we met and talked with."

"We came to Cooperstown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame Museum. Scott's charming cottage was just minutes away. It had everything we needed, was clean and very comfortable. Right next to our place was a scenic hiking trail, and had the weather been better we would have spent more time hiking. The rental was a great value, and although we had to leave a day early because of a pending Nor'easter back home in NJ, we had a great stay in Cooperstown at Scott's cottage."

"This is a cozy property in a perfect location. We walked everywhere in town we wanted to go... The National Baseball Hall of Fame, the lake, and many great restaurants. Excellent parking on site. Loved having a refrigerator and kitchen to pack our picnic lunches. We appreciated the bottles of water and orange dreamsicles provided. Short driving distances to state parks for hiking: (Glimmerglass; Betty and Wilbur Davis). Also an easy drive to Fly Creek Cidery for apple cider and Middlefield Orchard for apple and raspberry picking."
