Hotel was super clean. Staff was wonderful. Nice variety for breakfast and very good coffee. easy access to the subway. Not in the best neighborhood but didn’t have any problems whatsoever. Water pressure was fantastic and very hot water… Will definitely stay there again

I was visiting family for a graduation and all of the chain hotels were either sold out or double the price so I decided to give the Whitman a try. I’m so glad I did. Clean, friendly and convenient. I will be back!

Best option for the area

We simply loved everything, clean, tidy, the staff were super polite and attentive. I checked out later and they took great care of me. The town is amazing, we will definitely be back again.

Very friendly stuff

This was an ideal location for me. It is relatively close to JFK and was an easy commute in the morning for my flight. There are multiple dining venues within a three block walking distance. The hotel is economically priced for the area.

I spent the week here on a solo trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend my time. The room was much bigger than I expected, the room I was assigned was facing the parking lot so I was able to literally see my car from my room (that made me so happy), breakfast was served every morning which I personally loved and the staff was so friendly and sweet. The entire hotel has been remodeled. Everything thing is clean and fresh. Very relaxing stay.

Room was clean. Lobby was clean. The room was very simple but had everything I needed. I only used it for sleeping. The area outside was dirty, but I felt mostly safe walking it. It was easy walking distance to Subway train to Manhattan.
