「A beautiful piece of history! The house is lovely and unique! We stayed in the Lantern Room which had access to the cupola via a spiral staircase in the room! The view from there is spectacular! We ordered a charcuterie board for a light dinner and ate it in the cupola while enjoying the scenery. You can bike (free to use), walk along the shore, swim, enjoy meals out, read, play games and so much more! Delicious breakfast is provided each morning while warm cookies and lemonade are served each...
「The shuttle to downtown Newport every half hour was outstanding. We could get into Newport and back on a predictable schedule. The drivers were outstanding, friendly, and knowledgeable about the area.」
「This is my second time choosing this hotel, is very convenient for us. It has a 24 hour front desk, the staff is very friendly. I like it cause Walmart is about 5 minutes away, making it very convenient to get groceries during our stay. Also I was able to visit friends near by. Hotel is near highways, restaurants and shopping malls.」
「We had 2 rooms, 1 needed ADA access. It did have the ramp, but no seating chair for the shower and it was located near the b k of the kitchen and the view from the window was the storage areas with beer kegs and what not laying around. The hotel location and the other room with a balcony were great. Need to improve on the ADA room though 」

We checked in after hours so did not interact with any staff except over the phone but the remote check in process was still easy and we had no issues. Was a convenient and affordable stay for a concert in Matunuck.」
