"Perfect hotel for relaxation. The view is breathtaking. The room was huge we liked the separate toilet and shower stalls, the multi use shampoo, conditioner and body wash. We would have liked a bottle of lotion too. The on-site restaurant patio was a real bonus, the food was delicious and plated beautifully The waiters were very personable and professional. "

"We were really pleased with our stay at the AGAM - it was well located about a five minute walk to the lagoon and ten minutes to the zócalo. The hotel is beautifully kept with a nice pool and garden, and clean and stylish rooms. The bed was comfortable, though a little on the firm side. Breakfast was really nice, and the staff were fabulous. We had help booking tours, and when there was a medical emergency they really went above and beyond to help sort out some logistics. Abril, in particular, was incredibly kind and helpful during our stay.
I would happily stay at the AGAM again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! "

"One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Amazing jungle setting, super cool rooms with amazing decor, romantic lighting, thatch walls, outdoor shower, awesome plunge pool at the front door. We loved the cats everywhere, the open air reception lounge, awesome, friendly staff and beautiful lagoon. This place was like a super cool, semi fancy Gilligans island. If you like boring, beige, generic hotel chains, don’t come here. "

The conditions of the hotel are not updated, sheets and towels are not in the best conditions. We did not used the pool but we noticed someone cleans it. It is far from downtown but the staff can get taxis."

Location is perfect in the lake in front of a nice island.
