Beautiful and relaxing

We had a wonderful stay at Aminah. The hotel itself is beautiful and relaxing. But what really made our experience perfect was the staff. They were absolutely amazing: warm, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. We highly recommend Aminah. We really hope to return one day :)

Beautiful Bacalar

What a wonderful place Amainah is, in all my travels I have never seen an entire staff so fantastic! Our room was beautiful the breakfast that was included was incredible and the service was second to none. The view from our room was beautiful. The only negative is it's not very handicapped accessible there is no elevator and quite a few steps.

The property is beautiful, the staff is incredible, the food and cocktails are excellent! I had no complaints. We stayed 3 nights and it was exceptional. The walk to town is a little far but we did it twice! I wanted the exercise anyway. The staff was so hardworking, friendly, and helpful. I will come back if I'm in that part of the country again! HIGHLY recommend.

The hotel is very upscale and luxurious. The food and lounging by the late is great. The kayaks were the best. The location is not the most walkable and you can benefit from a car or taxi.

Perfect is the only word that comes to life when describing our stay. Service from staff (Edgar, Ricardo, Luis, Andres to name a few) was incredible. Chef cooked special dishes for my wife and I, at our request. Room was impeccable, view from our balcony beautiful. Without a doubt, and after staying in many continents at top hotel chains like Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Mandarin Oriental, Langham to name a few, this was the best most enjoyable stay of our lives. We do not only recommend this hotel, it is a MUST STAY if your visit Bacalar!

Highly recommend. Extraordinary view & great staff

Hotel is amazing and staff is very receptive and kind. Room is very comfortable and has an extraordinary view. We were warmly welcomed by Jesus in the reception. Maria also assisted us in the best way she could. The bar and restaurant was very good and we were kindly served by Isabel with cocktails, waitors Giovani, Michelangelo and Ricardo. We had a problem with the shower late at our first night, that under circumstances caused some discomfort. However, it was resolved in the next morning and changed by a new one that was installed. Suggestion: maybe a room (any level) could have been offered just for taking a shower as we had a long day and drive to Bacalar, but I don't know if the hotel had any spare rooms available. Nevertheless, problem solved and Maria was very receptive to hearing us out and seek a solution.

Well this hotel is stunning in all the ways; amenities excellent; service outstanding Miguel, Salvador, Ricardo in the bar wowww anything they will make it happen; Frontdesk really profesional and explain any detail. And management good with Enrique; only a little Inconvenience with the breakfast; in Expedia explain is 2 full breakfast and I asked Miguel; he said sorry but the only included is amanahia breakfast and I did kindly asked for the manager; Miguel came back and said Manager Enrique void my 3 breakfast; I appreciated but I went up to speak with manager Enrique he was really attentive and I told him next time is better to come and speak directly with the guest and that give support to the staff; I think this is minor and easy to fix like I mention to Enrique; but in general this is an OUTSTANDING HOTEL; well worth your money your time and your vacation. For REAL. Keep it up AMANAIH well done.

Wi-Fi / TV wasn’t working properly, kept losing connection. Could hear traffic outside the room all night and therefore had several bad nights sleep. Had to keep asking for water as there was no refill option and the receptionist only allowed us a couple of water bottles at once. Only 2 parasols at the pool area. Food was average. Cocktails were nice however expensive. The room decor was very minimalist which can be nice however in this instance the toilet door didn’t close properly and felt like you didn’t have much privacy. Overall very highly priced - there are nicer hotels in the area!
