"The house was well equipped. Comfortable beds. Parking down the road, although the next house parked right outside our front door. Strangely had no BBC on the TV. Local pub did good food. A good base for the southern Lakes"

Loved the little touches, electric blinds , TV in the bathroom,espresso machine etc .. also right in the middle of KL , all different type of restaurants. Breakfast at the Royal was very nice too ! "We had a lovely stay for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, we upgraded our room to Super Deluxe which was very spacious and had a great view of the lake. A card was left in our room wishing us a happy anniversary which was a nice touch. Perfect location, breakfast was good and staff were exceptional. Our room wasn’t ready until 4 which is what the hotel states as check in time, this is a bit later than most hotels but we enjoyed a drink at the bar while we waited. Overall a lovely relaxing stay and we would definitely return. "
