Amazing hotel;especially for the price. Upon pulling up to The Godfrey we were met by the parking valet and doorman who helped us with our luggage. They were friendly and helpful with the Porter explaining if we needed any help with advice, etc he was available. The Valet advised us of the parking procedure and the cost (we knew it was an expensive $60/day but were not going traipse around the city looking for parking). We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen
and two TV's. Nice service offered where you can leave a shopping list and they'll stock your fridge.
We thought 72 degrees was rather cool but were able to adjust easily. There are a few cool vegan friendly restaurants in a one block radius that the concierge did not know about - Green something (adjacent to...

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The little extras like the waters and snacks in the hallway were such a nice touch. It feels like this place cares about you actually coming back.

One thing I didn’t like is that there are no microwaves in the room. I’m sure this is to drive sales for room service and the on-site restaurant, but with so many restaurants nearby, it’s hard not to bring back leftovers.
