"The Ocean Beach Hotel is a nostalgic stay. Super clean and comfortable, even if it’s a little worn and tatty, and the location can NOT be beat. Get an ocean view room; the balcony overlooking the pier (currently closed) is excellent. Ocean Beach has an east coast beach town vibe and this hotel is exactly right for the location. Parking is easy and free. The placement of the toilet, practically underneath the sink, in our room was unfortunate, but nowhere near a deal breaker. Would stay again. "

"The air conditioning worked as expected. Had to wait in line as only two staff were available at check-in on a Thursday evening. Had to pay for parking, and the property was difficult to get in and out of. The room was clean and nice. The bathroom was modern and clean. The large-screen TV was not compatible with our Netflix subscription. Did not notice sounds from other guests. "
