「Stayed at The Gables for a weekend in August 2025. Had a wonderful experience, and the convenient location of The Gables made our lives easy. The hostess, Mary, was an absolute diamond. She greeted us warmly and provided us with a wonderful cooked breakfast each morning. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Would highly recommend a stay at The Gables for anyone looking for somewhere homely and welcoming within a short drive to Edinburgh. 」
「Absolutely stunning place i was not sure on which cabin in was so phoned up and the gentleman was so polite and made sure i had everything i needed whilst guiding me to the correct one. Provides everything you need from makeup table plenty mirrors and even apps on the tv.

「The cottage was amazing, everything we needed and more for a quiet weekend away as a family. The setting was beautiful. The cottage is situated on the site of a wedding venue but it is far enough away to not be disturbed or us not to infringe on the wedding celebrations taking place. A gem of a property that allowed us to just chill. We would love to return in the future.」
「The room was far from the lobby, and there were many stairs, so it was difficult to carry my luggage. It was nice to have a drink served when my friend visit me in the lobby.」
