We walked from the rental car drop off. There was a sidewalk but littered with trash. Very industrial area not a pretty walk. Take the shuttle (cost 2.50 pounds) next time.

The staff was extremely friendly throughout our stay. The breakfast was really good with plenty of options. The small bar was also nice. The only downside was noise from airplanes taking off during the night as this hotel is very near the airport. However, we only noticed this in our first room when arriving in Edinburgh. We stayed there again the night before we left Edinburgh and didn't notice any noise in a different part of the building.
