「地図で見ると周りに何も目的になるものがなかったので心配したが、実際行ってみるととてもわかりやすく、しかも英国のカントリーサイドにふさわしい、すばらしい環境の所に建っていた。朝食をとった部屋の雰囲気も抜群で、日本では味わえない優雅な気持ちにさせられた。夕食はいつもバーで軽く飲み、スターターなどで十分で、この日もホテルの雰囲気のいいバーでのひとときを満喫できた。余り日本人は来ないそうだが、susiやtempuraのメニューがあった。シェフが日本で修業したことがあるので取り入れているとのことだった。」

「Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x」

「The place is OK as a base which we used it for whilst we were in the area. The food was nice with the added beneit of a Gluten free menu and they do have separate prep areas for food. Rooms nice, although a little dated and some need a little attention in places. Reasonably priced for both food and drink, service can be a little slow at times. Bar area gets busy we tended to sit in the restaurant area as it was more quieter. Breakfasts tasty, good selection of food and hot food if you want...

「Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. 」

「We stayed two weekends, 23rd and 30th The staff were very good at their job. When we were staying above incredibly volatile and inebriated guests on the first weekend, it was dealt with quickly. Unfortunately the next night another guest set off the fire alarm at 1am. The second weekend was faultless- thoughtful guests same excellent staff Clientelle interesting, staff incredibly professional and kind.
