「The staff were excellent hosts and assisted us with in person enquiries but a couple of emails i sent prior to check in went unanswered. Yes, room 12 we stayed in was rather noisey ( even at night )being on the main road side but earplugs were provided. I don't know what the other rooms are like. I did manage to fall asleep till about 4.30am. The floors boards in the room and just outside in the corridor creaked and felt unstable when walked on. The bathroom was a little on the small side but...

「Big mention to Jane and Ollie who were so welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent. Room was quirky and lovely and quiet. Very peaceful. Very clean in rooms and in the pub itself. Lovely little town with lots of things to do in the area.」

「Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. 」

「We really enjoyed our two nights stay in this very charming guest house. Our room was clean and our bed was super comfy. The owner was very pleasant and made us feel very welcome in her home. 」

「Check in was a nightmare...one member of staff to multiple people waiting in a line.....dust around tv and no bag in bins or properly clean rooms.no info about ev charging and more annoying was car park was full yet when i popped out just for 5mins my spot was taken...parking should be allocated per room」

「The staff were excellent could not do enough for us. The property is beginning to look shabby in places, needs T.L.C. We had a lovely suite looking over the bay with a balcony, but I was very very disappointed that all the balcony doors were locked off so no one could open them. A sticker on the door says that it is waiting for maintenance. On enquiry the maintenance has not done for a very long time. I am a keen photographer which made the stay very disappointing.」
