We have just had a lovely 4 night stay at the Cromwell Arms. Our Room was very spacious, the staff were very friendly and the food served in the evening in the restaurant was very good value. Great Breakfast A thoroughly enjoyable stay and would recommend

Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent both at breakfast and at the bar. The tv in the room could be somewhat bigger with more channels available and a box of tissues left in the room would be welcome. Overall a very nice experience.

Food was very good. Large room. Clean and comfortable. Bathroom let it down as small dark and pokey. Very very steep stairs to reach room. Plenty of parking. Outside area for sitting which was pleasant. Not bad value for money though.

The bathroom and bedroom were fine, no problems checking in. Nice smiley welcome. Carpets throughout were badly in need of a good scrub, although some had been replaced recently so obviously they are aware. The food was not wonderful as the balsamic and oil certainly did not taste of anything like olive oil more like cheap veg oil. More veggie options would have been nice A handy place to stay and very central to the pretty village of Bovey Tracy.

We loved the location as it was less than 10 mins from Colson Park wedding venue we were attending. The staff at the Cromwell Arns were very acommadating but unfortunatly my husband banged his head on corner of the tv as he squessed past it as the bed took up too much room for ease .There was a lot of dust on skirting boards a fluffy duster would sort! Apart from that everything was clean and to a good standard. Breakfast was lovely well presented , thankyou to you all we would stay again if in area. Special thankyou to the young waitress in the morning nothing was too much trouble.And the cleaners our room was refillled with coffee milk sugars clean towels , shower etc cleaned. Only small thing fluffy dust skirtings.👍🙃🥰❤️

The stay was good. The pub was clean, the staff really friendly and the food was good too. But I'm not sure about putting guests in the top floor rooms with only a fan! The rooms were unbearably hot. The fan did nothing and the only time the room cooled was the early hours of the morning. Not good!

Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant.

The room was really not cleaned and needs some refresh. That’s why I think we had Spiders in the room and toilet. Some forgotten things in the wardroom from former guests. But the breakfast was really good and the dinner as well.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly.We had an evening meal which was really lovely and tasty and plenty of it .Our room was very clean and big enough for us,you can hear the traffic and people outside when going past as our room was by the entrance to the carpark but it was ok.Breakfast was a choice of tea,coffee,3 juices,pastries,yoghurt,cereals, toast,jam,marmalade,full english,eggs benedict so a great selection.Overall ill give our stay 10/10
