"The room was very clean, adequate and certainly befitted our needs. The staff were most helpful, particularly the waiter called Andy whose sense of humour kept us entertained at breakfast. The small pool was a bonus. Unfortunately the jacuzzi was not in use whilst we stayed at the Brunswick Hotel."

"Beautiful guesthouse set in lovely tropical gardens. Very spacious bedroom with large comfortable bed, lovely decor, large 4 piece bathroom, a handy fridge, well-stocked hospitality tray, fantastic views. Spotlessly clean. Very peaceful. Excellent breakfast choices with cereal, fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, cooked to order full English etc. Small honesty bar. David & his staff are friendly, knowledgeable & welcoming. Lovely 8 days spent fir my 60th Birthday - didn't want to leave!"

"Great base to explore IOW (by car), nowhere is very far away.Enjoyed visiting Godshill, Shipwreck Centre, Carisbrooke Castle, Newtown Nature Reserve, Freshwater Bay (great waves!), Cowes, Sandown, Ventnor and Shanklin. Also climbed Bembridge Windmill and had lunch at St Helen's beach.Had a boiler breakdown on first morning so had no hot water for 4 days, happened on the Friday so difficult to find someone to repair it. The home owners were very apologetic (no-one's fault) and did all they could and we managed boiling some water in the kettle.We did enjoy our stay, thank you."

"Great location if you want somewhere quiet away from the crowds. That said it is within a short drive of Ventnor, Shanklin, Godshill and Sandown. The outside space of the cottage is limited to a courtyard at the side of the property. If you have a big car you might find the driveway a little on the short side - that said we did manage to fit two cars side by side ( a Niro and a Panda). We did have to move the rubbish bins off the drive to do that! If you need to rely on the internet while you’re away this probably isn’t the right location for you."
