"The cottage overall is really lovely but needs some privacy blinds in the toilet and bathroom next to the cricket club entrance the musty smell needs addressing probably because the heating needs to be turned up to heat the cottage throughly we had to wear our dressing gowns when we were in there it was quite cold the whole time and the instructions where very complicated so we just left it as it was and sadly I donâ€™t think I would return to this property because of the reasons I have stated here"

"A wonderful home with tons of natural light and fabulous sea views. The only slight issues were that the kitchen smelled slightly musty and needed airing out, the TV in the front bedroom (the floor below the top floor) made a noise whilst on standby that made my sister think she had ringing in her ears and the front windows had a fair bit of bird poo on. Overall though it was amazing, great value and I would definitely stay there again."

"We had a really lovely stay at the apartment. The bedroom and living room have big windows looking over to the sea. We listened to the waves when we went to sleep at night. Although it is within walking distance of Ventnor town we ate at the sea front restaurants and bars each night which were less than 2 minutes walk away, as was the beach.It is a great location."

"We had an excellent stay at St Maur. The rooms are large spotlessly clean with fantastic ensuite facilties and a balcony with outstanding views. Parking is avaliable and hotel ideally situated for walking to the Botanic Gardens and Steephill Cove. The Owner and staff are amazing. Nothing is too much trouble. Such a friendly homely atmosphere."

"This flat is lovely, clean, light and airy. The location is fantastic - just swimsuit on and walk straight down to the beach! The flat had everything we needed. I chose this location for speedy access to the beach, buses to elsewhere on the Island, and food shops - all really close. For swimmers I recommend checking when high tide is, for me high tide is the best swim experience on Ventnor beach. Low tide you are wading through rocks a little bit, but don't let that put you off, you can still swim at low tide. I would just add a tiny feedback for the accommodation: guests would benefit from clear instructions where to find the outside bins. It would be helpful to have advice for future guests, something like: 'the door to the yard, where the outside bins are, may seem stiff and hard to open, do not worry it is not locked, just move the handle and give the door a good push'."
