「Room was clean and comfortable, liked the mini fridge and bottles of water everyday. Owner and staff were friendly and welcoming, a good choice of breakfast cooked to your preference, plenty of parking.」
「We were delighted with our stay at The Ship Inn, right from the warm welcome to someone checking whether we'd left something behind. The building has lovely windows, with light and views coming in from all angles. The food was delicious, and we were particularly pleased to have a small bottle of real milk in our room. 」
「This was a fun place to stay while visiting the battle field. The village was very interesting with many small shops.
The room appeared to be recently renovated and staying above a pub was a fun experience. The pub itself was also excellent.
Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning...which resulted in us opening a window...and listening to traffic (the road out front is very busy)
All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area」
