The room was clean and modern but quirky built into an extremely old building there were beams and uneven doors and door frames lovely charm. We also stayed for dinner which was excellent made to feel most welcome straight from arriving by James (ask for his long vodka). A lovely welcome good food good drink and a comfy bed. Excellent.

Really amazing, the room and staff were all lovely. The only single thing I would say is to put a warning in the bathroom about the water system because I lots a few years off my life the first time it went off.

Fantastic, welcoming staff, everything you could hope for. Good food. Comfortable bed. In spite of being on the main road, quiet. And properly dog-friendly, not just dog-tolerant.

Great food and location
Crackinggg food, lovely staff, great central location and really lovely room. Only downside for us was that the building being very old meant we could hear all the noise from downstairs whilst in our room. And being at the front of the building meant we had the traffic noise and street lights to contend with as well! So our sleep was a little disturbed, but overall we had a wonderful time and really enjoyed our stay.

Greeted by friendly staff, room was clean with a lovely bathroom and all the amenities, comfy bed. I would avoid the room right over the bar as this was very noisy even after closing time with music and chatting until after midnight. Breakfast was very nice but dinner pretty average.

Enjoyed our stay, lovely staff, good breakfast. Only thing that wasn’t great was the bathroom macerator was so so loud every time the taps or shower was turned on. Overall though nice hotel to stay!
