"Very clean room with plenty of tea making facilities and lots of hot water, fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Helpful full length mirror in bedroom. Some of the communal areas look a bit tired, but staff welcoming and room was great for my needs (staying overnight in area ready for family get together). Great location for Hythe and walk along seafront short drive away."

"Stayed 1 night Wednesday 2nd September at the White Lion. We were passing through Tenterden and decided to stay overnight. We couldn’t have chosen better accommodation. We stayed in the Biddenden Room and it was so spacious, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the bar/restaurant that evening (very good wine choice recommended to us) and the food was excellent as was the breakfast. We would definitely recommend staying at the White Lion. Our first room (220) was a little awkward with steps going into the room. We were upgraded to a room with a view of the sea which was perfect. Breakfast was over priced for what was offered."
