「The location was fabulous, close to metro and museums. The hosts were very accommodating and check in was easy. There was ample room for 4 adults. It was also very convenient having a kitchen for coffee/breakfast. Unfortunately, the property could have been cleaner. 「Lovely, clean room on a quiet street in De Pijp, near shops, restaurants and Metro. A short walk to museums and concert hall. We were there during a heat wave and so grateful for the air conditioning. The private balcony was great for breakfast on cool mornings. Ruud and Lisa were extremely welcoming, kind, and attentive, and even found time for a canal tour on their small boat, which was a highlight. 「The neighborhood was away from the central area so it was quieter and had access to everything needed. The best part was the gracious kindness and assistance from the hosts when we had lost a wallet and needed to put a hold on credit and bank cards. Hans went above and beyond to help in every possible way. He was also very responsive to assisting with technically challenging appliances and in helping us navigate the transportation. I highly recommend this property and its hosts.」

「The only thing i think you need to know before booking this house is that you are booking someone else’s home. Not vacation home - but home. Nothing felt clean and to say this apartment is central to all sites is crazy. It is walking distance to the museums, a park and the grocery store. When we entered the house was not cleaned. Garbage was left there- and the smell lasted the entire week. The owner and his assistant are lovely. This just wasn’t at all what i expected. 」

「Booked this hotel as it looked really good online. Also have been looking for a hotel out of the city centre and close to the Vondel Park, for regular trips to Amsterdam.
