"we came on a 14 hour night flight and then a 1 hour taxi ride - we then sat in hotel reception for 3.5 hours - our room was not ready but we were not offered any where to sit and rest - the cafe was very busy and we were not offered even a free drink or anywhere more comfortable to sit - i cannot imagine this happening at the mandarin oriental the 5 star hotel we stayed in for the next part of out trip where nothing was too much trouble - i also asked for 2 tea bags and was given them but told...

"The hotel itself is a highlight for us in Tokyo. No detail is overlooked and the staff are in a different league compared to other hotels.
