"We had an great stay at Splendid Venice! It was right in the heart of the city near the plaza and wonderful restaurants. The concierge recommended places to eat- restaurants, gelato etc. and was especially helpful. Only slide note is that breakfast is a bit on the pricey side so consider purchasing it with your room at the start or going nearby for affordability. "

"Room was very nicely decorated. Bet was very comfortable. Plenty of water pressure and hit water fir shower/baths. AC was clearly working and very comfortable temp in room. The front desk staff were always friendly and went out of their way to help you with things to do. The water front deck was so nice for sipping capichino and boat watching. If your looking for a smaller quaint hotel that will bring you joy on your vacation...this is it."

The location couldn’t be more perfect—just steps away from St. Mark’s Square and right on the canal, where gondolas pass by throughout the day. Waking up to the sound of the water and the charm of Venice right outside the window felt magical. "Good general location, close to the Venezia Sta Lucia train station. Close to lively night life but just tucked away enough that the street is quiet. Close to a water bus station for travel within the city. Good internet access and accommodations comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. The buffet breakfast was a nice surprise. The only recommendation I have would be that the shower be cleaned better and maybe update to include the ability to use streaming services like Netflix, etc.Otherwise, I would stay here again."
