「Once past the tired exterior, we were greeted by Hassan (site manager). He was very friendly and patient when guiding all nine of us through how to use the coded doors. He genuinely couldn‘t do enough for us over our week‘s stay, from providing extra tea/coffee to giving advice on local attractions and places to go. All five rooms booked were clean and comfortable. 「清潔さと駅からの近さでこのホテルを選びました。期待通りでしたので非常に満足しています。フロントも24時間対応で、対応も暖かく親切でした。廊下や上の階の歩く音がやや響くので、神経質な方は気になるかもしれませんが、騒がしいといった事は特にありませんでした。アメニティーや最新の設備という意味では充分とは言えませんが、ロンドンは宿泊量が高いのでその点に照らせば値段相応だと思います。全体として大変満足しています。」

「建物自体は古いですが、清掃も行き届いておりサービスもとても良かったです。見晴らしの良いテラスカフェがあり、リラックスした時間を過ごさせてもらいました。部屋もとても広く快適でした。レストラン等があるエリアから少し遠いことだけが難点で、お子さん連れとかだと少しきついかもしれませんがレストランも併設されているので、まぁなんとかなるレベルかなと。逆にホテルに滞在する目的だと静かで良いかも。」

「We stayed at the Derwent, we had requested for rooms close but were put on completely different floors. The hotel is very dated and is overdue an upgrade. The rooms are tired looking. We found some of the staff a little aloof and not many smiles around on reception or in the bars. The amenities are good. The outdoor and indoor pools looked good. There are some quieter places to sit if you wished. We had a lovely couple of days in Torquay and the hotel is conveniently located. If we stayed again...

「The whole of the place said disaster to us. The staff were very rude. They also didn’t even give a smile. The cleaning of the room was absolutely terrible. The inside of the cupboards where you put your clothes were all drips of coffee the pigeons you couldn’t open the window as they were just sat outside watching when we asked for help nobody seemed to have a clue what was going on. I am totally disappointed in the whole of the hotel itself. The pigeons were eaten off the table in the bistro....
