It had a good homely feeling with great community vibe with free coffee and sake.

The NEST at Nishiki is both a new and an exceptional property. The rooms were spotless and functional, the staff was extremely attentive, and the location was just perfect--steps from the Nishiki Market and the Gion district. Yet the single most outstanding feature of the NEST at Nishiki is its manager, Ms. Chie Nakamura. She is professional, knowledgeable, a top-notch hotelier, and a wonderful person. This hotel is a reflection of its manager. ありがとうございました.

Great Service Staff Free drinks including Sake Great location and Great suites really clean and Good kitchen and appliances

The hotel was great! The staff was polite and inviting. The rooms was spacious. And the lounge was great for breakfast and beverages in the evening.

The property was nice, well designed, and very clean.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended. It has everything you need.

The staff were amazing here! All the employees were so kind and made this an amazing stay. The location was excellent with markets nearby but still quiet at night.

This was a roomy, quiet, family friendly apartment hotel in central Kyoto close to bus lines and subways (bus stop from Kyoto station is literally a few feet away from hotel). Multilingual staff was very friendly and helpful. Washer/dryer coin operated laundry was easily accessible in lobby as well as free amenities like coffee pods, toothbrushes, Qtips, bath robes, house slippers and other necessities. We stayed 12 days and easily took day trips to Hiroshima, Nara, Osaka, and even Tokyo on...

The front desk staff was amazing at this apartment style hotel. I wasn't expecting first class service but we definitely got it! They provided us a dinner recommendation, booked the taxi and booked the table. It was one of the best dinners we had in Japan and was in Pontocho Alley, which is a pretty popular area! The room was beautiful, everything was comfortable. Had a great experience!

The rooms are pretty big compared to typical Japanese hotels. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Had traveled with a group of 10 people and they were able to help us transport our luggages to the next hotel. Staff spoke English

Hotel is new , clean, and quiet. At the heart of shopping district but quite and organized.

Very large room by Japan standards, and incredibly clean, modern, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The location is perfectly central in Gion while being just outside the area of nighttime noise. Perfect stay for the three of us with room to spare in one of their larger rooms.

I really want to highlight how helpful the staff was, they really made our stay the best. Also the rooms were a very good size with lots of space and rooms were always clean.

Absolutely a perfect location in Kyoto very close walk to the best shopping and many of the temples close to some great restaurants highly recommend

Uniquely quiet, Zen-like aesthetic. Perfect location in a great neighborhood. Beautiful.

Great little hotel. Very quiet and calm. Great showers. Lots of pastries and drinks, which solved the problem of breakfast, especially for us, as we woke up at 5 am most days. (We noticed that some guests filled up bags of croissants after checking out, which was really sad to see, as they just emptied out the box of pastries into a plastic bag and left other guests nothing.) there is a 7/11 and a metro line right next to it. And some nice restaurants around too.

I genuinely can go on and on about this place, but ill keep it short. The staff was super helpful and kind. Honestly, the staff was one of the highlights to my trip. The breakfast was incredible and the room was in great condition. There were many great places to visit nearby which was especially great because I didn't have much time. I will absolutely be coming back here again!

Great hotel
