    "First I need to give all of the staff a big thank you for accommodating some very tired people taking the Shinkansen straight to Kyoto after a 14hr flight - they made it very simple to navigate the hotel! It isn't very far from the JR Kyoto station - a quick walk to the east and you'll see it. Our room was one with a wonderful private balcony with real plants covering up the view.
