"Our room with ensuite was functional, clean, relatively comfortable and great value for money. We walked at night to Mackenzies, great local food and bars. We could also walk to downtown. O’Neil was very helpful and was quick to respond to our needs. "

"Clean, a bit small, nice shower... good for longer stays as Price is reasonable. 5-8 Minutes away from Paradise Island. Not within walking distance of restaurants a bit out of the way but suited us for our purposes. Recommend for couples. Google maps doesn't work for it's Street Address, but "Dawson's Hideaway" does come up & take you there."

"The fact that our initial room was completely different than pictured was just a start. We have used HomeAway many, many times with “exceeded expectation” results but this one was a let down. On top of it all, the hotel manager and assistant manager were... let’s just go with “less than pleasant.” I’m stopping here because I could go on and on about things that were overly misrepresented on this particular outfit. "I would like to have my money back on the hotel, rooms where horrible, the hotel lied to Expedia, this hotel where the Bahamian social workers send their clients. Also there a bar in the middle that stay open late, you can smell marijuana coming from inside "

"Facility had nice staff, however we found rat feces in the room, the shower was literally a spicket in the wall and the building was in disaray. "

"It was not what i paid for, the staff was not understanding and sent me and my wife to an even worse location with roaches the tried to separate us in differnt rooms. It was not at all what it looked like on the website and the breakfast was not included like it said"

"They had only been open 3 weeks. Things need to be adjusted here and there. The window blinds don't close completely and too much light comes in the room making sleeping difficult. I had a full moon shining on my head for several nights. The young man who manages things is inexperienced but friendly and helpful. They have installed a generator in case of power outages."
