"Problems from beginning to end. First 3 days we didn't have hot water. I informed the front desk each time we left the room for the day with the promise it would be fixed but wasn't until day 3. We tried the on site restaurant the first night but waited over an hour for food. Then the second to last night we had issues with the toilet not flushing and found BLOODWORMS in the toilet tank. Called down and they sent someone to clean it and fix the flushing mechanism but the next day the worms were back. I went and talked to the front desk who finally offered to move us but it getting the last night I asked for them to just clean the toilet and tank again. I was promised some sort of compensation for the issue but so far nothing. Overall a poor experience."

"Too expensive for what quality of food you’re getting, the 18% auto tip for every purchase, even something at the conscience store left me with a really bad taste in my mouth and hole in wallet."

"I had an ocean room view room. It was beautiful and anything we needed we got. Room service was top notch and room was always cleaned without waiting for anything. It didn’t take long for them to clean every day and went above and beyond! "

"Outdated rooms, mattress and pillows were very poor quality. Pool bar needs to be better maintained. Restaurants did not deliver. Staff seems to expect a tip for anything they do, from serving water at breakfast, to drinks at any of the bars. If you do not tip, you will not get service. Elevators take a very long time. Coffee bar did not open until 10am, what is the point of coffee half way through the morning? Too many locals pushing you to buy excursions on the beach, not comfortable to try and relax when being hounded. "

"The condo was as advertised. Great value. For that reason alone, you shouls stay there. The 5 stars are for the owner. I experienced a life threatening medical emergency. Steve was immediately responsive and did all he could to support us through this situation. He is a genuine caring and compassionate human being. His recommended driver, Monique, is also a truly fine person. With minimal notice, she picked up our kids at the airport and brought them straight to the hospital! I can never thank them enough for helping us. They are the gold standard for "responsive hosts"!"
