"I've now stayed at Colony Club four times, which should tell you most of what you need to know. It certainly has a central location and price that can be beat, but here's what keeps bringing me back. The pool is beautiful and the breakfast is genuinely excellent — fresh, unhurried, and the mangos alone are worth the trip. Those are the things you'll see in the photos. What you won't see in the photos is the staff, and they are the real reason this place is special. Every single one of them is sincere, warm, and so responsive that you stop worrying about anything the moment you arrive. Nothing is too much trouble. They remember you. They mean it. And here's the thing that surprised me most: that warmth is contagious. By day two, the guests are talking to each other. People who arrived from four different countries end up sharing a table at breakfast and swapping plans for the day. Colony Club builds camaraderie among strangers, and that is not something a hotel can fake or manufacture. It comes from the top, and it comes from the people who work there. If you're looking for a place in Nassau that feels less like a transaction and more like being welcomed, this is it. I'll be back — for a fifth time."
