"Very convenient to Kanazawa Station and other points of interest. Very clean with a lot of new items. The staff was very helpful with anything I needed, even spoke English!"

"Things I didn't like: - beds are rather hard - pillows are VERY unsupportive (good if you are a back sleeper, not so much if sleep on your side) - the bathroom and the pods were a little dusty - ALOT of rules - staff wasn't too knowledgeable of the area besides major places, such as the castle Things I did like: - location is great. "Room basic however heaps of extra amenities & staff outstanding very helpful and friendly. Shown to my room & how things work. Hotel a little dated but location great I got a taxi from the station then could walk to the castle grounds & famous gardens also right next to main st & could also walk to Ninja shrine/museum, shops & Samurai area. Would recommend if you are on a budget. "

"Our stay at Ryokan Karasawa was lovely! The space was clean and peaceful, and the hosts were incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. The guide to the local buses and food was invaluable. The building does show its age a bit, but at such a great price and location it's impossible to complain. The futons were REALLY comfy here, too. I'd definitely stay again!"
