"Excellent Hotel and great staff. The breakfast buffet was the best I have ever had. When you turn left out of the property and take the Moat Garden walk to the Castle it is so peaceful and quiet. The JR bus is a couple blocks away and takes you to all the sightseeing spots and train station and is the included in your rail pass ,if you have it. My daughter already asked when are we coming back. "

"Pros -Was very tidy and clean. -The space in our room was used very well, so we had plenty of room to work with, which is uncommon in Japan at this price range (my experience, at least). - I like the rice paper shutters that our room had - Customer service was exceptional. -The cityscape view from our room and the lobby/lounge was phenomenal - Can reach major attractions/sites within 15-20 mins of walking Cons - The room was quite warm and the air conditioning did not help alleviate this, it may have even made it worse. This was not much of a problem for us in April, but it could be during the summer."

"Beautiful view of mountains behind Kanazawa, on the other side of the building you can see the ocean in the distance. They had a washer/dryer combo in the room, plenty of space and the room was cozy."

"Fantastic. First thing we noticed was no obvious signage on the hotel. Once inside you are asked to remove your shoes and put them in a locker. Rooms are perfect, very cumfortable beds and very quiet. The whole place has a sense of serenity. The communal baths were popular even yhough we did not use them. "

"The hotel is only 5-minute walk from the Castle park. We really enjoyed Sakura blossoms at the park. The breakfast at the hotel was so good; it was the best from our experience staying in many hotel in Japan. The room was spacious with the Japanese garden view. We highly recommended this hotel to anyone. We will definitely stay at this hotel again for our next visit to Kanazawa."
