ãBeautiful hotel right in the heart of Whitby, lots of restaurants around and a short walk from the famous 199 steps.
Good value and friendly staff. The supply of shampoo and conditioner was a thoughtful addition. ã
ãA unique and fabulously styled hotel, in a fantastic location. I've wanted to stay for a long time and it certainly lived up to expectations. Lovely team of folk behind it and we really enjoyed the cocktails. I look forward to visiting again, thankyou! ã
ãThe hosts Phillip and Dee could not do enough for us, they were very friendly. The room was lovely and clean and refills of tea, coffee, biscuits etc provided outside the rooms for guests to help themselves to.
The breakfasts we had were amazing, plenty of choice and beautifully cooked.
Thereâs a bus to Whitby just near the house and many other places to visit nearby.ã
ãI find the accommodation ideal for our needs. The rooms are in a separate building to the pub/restaurant so noise is minimal and facilities convenient. We've stayed here several times now and I'll keep coming back.ã
ãWe loved the ambience and the friendlyness of The Witching Post was understanding. Pete and his staff are kind, efficient and cannot do enough for you. we thoroughly enjoyed or time there and would love to go back some time.ã
ãIt's a stunning location right on the beach, and it's a short walk over the headland or round the bay, to Robin Hood's Bay.
Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. Clean room.
Super cafe bar. Relaxing seaside decor
It's a gem. ã
ãGreat service from Riviera. I am especially appreciative of them accommodating my very late arrival and check in. The breakfast was also excellent - I highly recommend the smoked kipper if you want something new and different.ã
