Dublin Southside Ski Vacations

Super quick shuttle to the airport. Rooms were quite large and very comfortable. Had dinner in the Italian restaurant and food was good, reasonably priced, and wait staff was very pleasant. If I needed to stay near Dublin airport again, I would absolutely stay here again.

This place is in such a good location with lots of things to do near by. We booked some excursions through GetYourGuide that had the meeting points literally a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage prior to check in so we could enjoy our day still. I would recommend this place to anyone and would stay here again!

Our room was very clean, the bed comfortable and the staff were kind. Unfortunately, our stay was ruined by the on-site construction that was going on in the courtyard of the building all day starting at or before 8am and going all the way until 5. It was EXTREMELY loud and you could not rest or focus on any work. There was no where to put our bags nor anywhere to put our things in the bathroom. While the room was pretty, the design was not functional. The pool area, which is actually one giant hot tub, was quite dirty. At the end of the stay I mentioned the noise and was given a small credit about 1/8th of what I paid for the stay.

A nice characterful hotel, in a modern part of Dublin. The cheaper rooms are not that big and a bit cramped, but the finish is nice and modern. Not a central location, but it is nicely located on the water and you it is not too far to walk into town. Would recommend.

Nice elegant rooms, accessible location.

The room had bed bugs I came home covered in bites and am now trying to treat my clothes and anything in that was in the room. Threw out the suitcases and preemptively cleaning our house just incase.

The 24 hour front desk was nice - you have to ring the doorbell to enter the building at any time of day or night. Room was good size and clean. It was very hot when we were in Dublin and they had no AC or fans, but the window opened and that helped. Location is a couple of blocks away from the main tourist areas, which was nice, and close to good bus stops.

Our stay at Buswells was adequate. The best part of this hotel is the location, right in the heart of Dublin and steps away from all the tourist attractions and hip neighbourhoods. However, the rest of the hotel experience was pretty mediocre. The room we got was tiny (Comfort Double is a rather flimsy euphemism for cramped and uncomfortable). The headboard of our bed was damaged and flaking, the “view” from our room was non-existent, the air circulation was extremely poor and made the room feel incredibly hot and stuffy. The hotel room was pretty pricey and didn’t even include breakfast. Other than the location, I cannot in good conscience recommend this hotel to anyone.
