Great location!!! I’d stay here again

This is the third time I've stayed at the Huntley in the past year-- as usual, my room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The location is vey handy for walking around Santa Monica.

Fantastic hotel with very classy premium room layouts, extremely friendly staff and walking distance to many great restaurants and bars. Very quiet residential neighborhood. You will need to have a car or use a lot of ride share to travel to shopping and tourist attractions. Rooftop pool has great surrounding views of LA.

Great easy place if you are visiting UCLA. Hotel is kind of run down but the beds were nice and firm, towels were soft and newer feeling. Comfortable. Nice place to grab a drink or quick bite outside by the pool. Would definitely stay again.

Great and helpful staff

We had such a wonderful experience at the 1 Hotel. It was such a great location being by the Ferry Building and their restaurant was incredible. Next time we visit we’ll definitely be staying here!

Highly recommend! You get the luxury experience for a moderate price. Room was fairly spacious, decor is beautiful, and the history in the lobby is amazing!

The stay was very affordable, but definitely at a cost. The room had a fridge, a walk in shower, TV and an AC which was nice. However, the room had very poor circulation, rust in the shower, stains, mattress was uncomfortable on our backs, and both sets of window screens were not the correct size so bugs were allowed in, and we dealt with multiple mosquito bites each night and spiders in the room, which was very unpleasant. Keep the windows closed. Biggest reason to stay is affordability in Los Angeles for a place to sleep. You get what you pay for.

Absolutely not as advertised. A loft space that the landlord has furnished with the bare minimum to qualify. In no way worth the price paid. Main bed was a price of wood on the floor with a cheap mattress. Second "bedroom" is a cheap plywood box with very low ceilings, no ventilation and "windows" only to the apartment itself not external. Cheap kitchen with dirty pots and pans. Dirty floors. On the second day both bathrooms flooded with sewage as a drainage pipe backed up and despite a clean up the place stank of you-know-what for the rest of the stay. Area is sketchy with homeless sleeping right outside the door. Garage opener did not work forcing us to street park the car. A real shame as it could be a nice apartment but the landlord has figured that doing it on the cheap does not matter if you are doing short term rentals. Definitely do not recommend.
